AXIOS Atelier
of Orthodox
embroidery
Atelier Axios creates liturgical vestments for bishops, priests, and deacons, as well as church coverings, banners, shrouds, and other embroidered textile works. We are committed to impeccable tailoring and the careful preservation of Orthodox tradition.

Collections
of Orthodox vestments and liturgical items
Since 1992, the atelier Axios has set the standard in the art of liturgical embroidery.
Our name is the call of “worthy,” spoken at episcopal ordination — a reminder of the measure of responsibility we hold. We preserve the Serbian-Byzantine tradition, drawing on the motifs of ancient monasteries: Dečani, Studenica, and Sopoćani.
Each piece follows a long journey from concept and fabric selection to hand embroidery. The foundation of a new ornament may arise from fresco motifs or the architectural features of your church.
